Please take time to read the terms and conditions of our Guest House, we have tried to make them simple to understand.
RESERVATIONS
Before making a reservation please be aware of the following:
- When a reservation is made, it means that someone else may be turned away for that room on that date. We make a commitment to our guests when we reserve a room for them; in return, we require a commitment from our guests. This is why a 'Cancellation Policy' is deemed necessary in clear and simple terms.
- Any reservations over a £250 total will require a minimum of £50 deposit.
- Rooms will be available from 2pm to 8pm on the day of your arrival unless otherwise agreed. Please confirm you approximate time of arrival at time of booking.
- Rooms should be vacated by 10am on the day of your departure.
- It is understood that Birchwood is a totally non-smoking establishment.
- Acceptance of the Cancellation Policy at time of booking.
- We always advise guests to have a holiday insurance in case of cancellations.
Cancellation Policy
- Deposits are refundable provided 48 hours notice is given. An admin charge of £10.00 will apply to credit card deposits.
- Cancellations within 48 hours of the booked date, one days room rate will be charged.
Payment
- Cheque: We only accept cheques for deposits we need to receive these five working days before arrival.
- Credit/Debit cards: We accept most major credit/debit cards, except American Express.
- Cash: We accept cash payment for accommodation.
- BACS: We accept Bank Transfer payment for deposits, please mention when making a booking if you do not want to give your credit card details.
