Birchwood Guest House is a family run Bed & Breakfast owned and operated by Heather and Ken Cottrell in a friendly and informal style. The Bed and Breakfast Guest House was built in 1904, this Edwardian house has lovely bright rooms which are constantly being re-decorated and updated. Birchwood Bed and Breakfast Guest House is located in the heart of Portsmouth and is close to the sea front and award winning gardens.
 
Portsmouth is becoming increasingly popular with tourists from both home and abroad and is now renowned as a "world class" waterfront. Portsmouth is a famous and historic naval port with the added benefit of also having a seaside resort of Southsea. With so many attractions in the Portsmouth area we hope that this will encourage you to stay with us for either a short break or perhaps even longer.
